Car Rental Conditions

DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RENTAL AGE LIMIT

Individuals aged 24 and above with a valid driver's license of at least 3 years can rent a vehicle. The age limit and license duration may vary based on the brand and model of the vehicle.

VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS

The vehicle type, model, model year, engine capacity, and trunk capacity may vary from the vehicle shown in the pictures on the website in terms of equipment and features.

SERVICES INCLUDED AND NOT INCLUDED IN PRICES

The prices include 2% Excess Waiver Collision Insurance, Theft Protection, and 18% Value Added Tax.

Prices do not include Fuel, Personal Accident Insurance, Precautionary Financial Liability Insurance, One-Way Fee, Delivery/Pickup Fee, Baby Seat Fee, Navigation Device, Additional Driver, HGS Passage and Service Fee, Excess Kilometer Fee, and the full collision insurance fee for damages below the excess. Mini damage coverage is not included in the price. There is no requirement for a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is returned with insufficient fuel, the fuel difference is charged along with a service fee.

ADDITIONAL SERVICE MINI DAMAGE COVERAGE

One of the most preferred additional coverages by customers is the Mini Damage Coverage. This coverage protects against one-sided damages up to 7,500 TL that cannot be documented or recorded with a report.

ADDITIONAL SERVICE SUPER MINI DAMAGE COVERAGE

Another popular additional coverage is the Super Mini Damage Coverage. This coverage protects against one-sided damages up to 15,000 TL that cannot be documented or recorded with a report. It covers situations such as parking damages, tire ruptures, tire ballooning, windshield cracks, rubbing, scratching, and headlight damages that may occur while parked.

Customers benefiting from the Super Mini Damage Coverage at an additional cost experience a worry-free rental experience.

ONE-WAY RENTAL

In the case of returning the vehicle in a different city, a One-Way fee is applied. The One-Way fee varies according to demand and distance and must be paid before the vehicle is delivered, not included in the price.

PICKUP AND DROP-OFF FROM/TO DIFFERENT CITIES (ROUND TRIP RENTAL)

In the case of picking up and dropping off the vehicle in a different city depending on the rental period, the delivery fee, along with the vehicle rental fee, must be paid before the vehicle is delivered. The delivery fee varies based on the distance and is separate from the vehicle rental fee.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

For the vehicle to be used by individuals other than the lessee, additional drivers must have their Driver's License information listed on the Rental Agreement. In the event of determining that the vehicle is used by individuals not listed in the Rental Agreement and/or in any accident, all coverages are invalidated, and both the lessor and the person/people using the vehicle are held responsible. In addition to the primary driver, one additional driver can be added for an extra fee.

DELIVERY AND PICKUP

At GoodCars Rental, the delivery and pickup of vehicles to customers in different cities and airports are carried out for a delivery fee based on kilometers. However, customers benefiting from the free delivery service campaign do not pay the delivery fee. The free delivery service is at the discretion of GoodCars Rental based on kilometers and the rental period.

PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT

The total amount of the rental is collected in cash per vehicle at the beginning of the contract or through bank transfer/ EFT before the rental period. There is no requirement for a credit card with a foreign passport, and no pre-authorization fee (blockage on the credit card) is requested. You can make a reservation for free.

TRAFFIC FINES AND HGS PASSAGES

Any responsibility and financial penalty arising from non-compliance with traffic laws are the responsibility of the renter. The time spent due to the impoundment of the vehicles by official or local authorities, for any reason, is accepted within the contract period. Traffic fines incurred by the customer are collected directly from the customer, while fines received by the company during the rental period are also charged to the customer. The customer is responsible for all expenses related to HGS (or OGS), bridge, and highway tolls, etc. Toll fees for unauthorized passage through toll booths and bridges are also collected from the customer.

EXTRAS

Delivery to the address and returns to the address, one-way fees, toll and highway passage systems (HGS or OGS), navigation system, baby seat, additional driver are extras and are charged separately from the rental.

**2% Excess Waiver Full Coverage Insurance is included in the price. If the customer does not want to be responsible for damages outside the coverage, they must pay the full collision insurance premium determined depending on the vehicle group and indicate their acceptance by signing the relevant section of the contract. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for all damages below this excess rate.

The following additional charges may be requested from the customer:

  • The cost of extra days beyond the expected return date in the contract
  • All traffic fines and highway-bridge escape fines, service fees
  • Damage costs not covered by the comprehensive insurance

PROTECTION OF CONSUMER RIGHTS

The monetary limit set out in the 5th and 6th paragraphs of Article 22 of the Consumer Protection Law No. 4077 is equal to the rental fee paid by the consumer, provided that the current price list at the time the vehicle is rented is valid."
